The Baratta Center Working Groups are a key part of our approach to convening global executives, policymakers, and Georgetown faculty and students to solve real-world issues facing the global business community today.
Working Group members not only have access to research and forward-thinking insights, but they also have the opportunity to exchange key ideas and issues with peers, and have a voice in shaping industry practices and policies.
Mobility, Automotive and Transport Value Chain Working Group
The Baratta Center’s Mobility, Automotive, and Transport Value Chain Working Group is a hub for experts, industry leaders, and academics to foster dialogue and share best practices to address the complex challenges and opportunities within the global mobility, automotive, and transport value chains, which are made up of multiple tiers of suppliers, manufacturers, mineral resources, distributors, service providers, and operators spread around the world.
Data privacy and digital trade concerns, supply chain disruptions, public-private models, and others have far reaching implications for this value chain. Simultaneously, the industry aims to become fully sustainable in terms of resource preservation and environment protection, while ensuring competitive costs and services. Given the complexity and interdependence of these challenges, navigating the evolving global business landscape demands a collaborative and coordinated approach.
