About the Baratta CenterJoin us on October 8 from 2 to 7:30 p.m. at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business in the Rafik B. Hariri Building.
The Baratta Center focuses on the “future of global business”.
The underlying premise of that focus is that globalization and globalism are undergoing numerous tectonic shifts and significant changes shaped by geopolitics, trade, climate change, scarce resources, food insecurity, AI and technology, economic and investment trends, and demographics, as well as an emerging desire by many individuals and institutions to do good for the world.
Through the generosity of Joseph (B’93) and Abigail (SFS’96) Baratta, Georgetown McDonough received an $11 million gift to name the Baratta Center for Global Business and support the school’s ambition to become the world’s premier destination to study global business. Their multifaceted gift endows and enhances the Global Business Fellows program, bolsters new center initiatives, and establishes the Baratta International Business Curriculum Endowed Innovation Fund.
