The Baratta Center for Global Business Education is the preeminent center for developing principled, globally minded leaders equipped to navigate and shape a world defined by geopolitical competition and technological change.
Baratta Center Supports Global Business Fellows Program
The Baratta Center creates co-curricular and experiential programming that supports the Baratta Global Business Fellows (GBF) and positions them for global leadership.
Drawing on Georgetown’s world-class expertise across the McDonough School of Business and the School of Foreign Service, the Baratta Center takes an interdisciplinary, applied, and AI-forward approach to global business education that is built for the complexities of an increasingly multipolar world.
The rules governing global commerce are being rewritten. Tariffs, export controls, investment screening, and industrial policy have become instruments of geopolitical competition — with consequences that reach deep into corporate strategy, supply chains, and investment decisions.
How do companies navigate and thrive in a world defined by U.S.-China strategic competition, the rise of middle powers, and the fragmentation of the rules-based international order? And how do governments and multilateral institutions develop the strategic judgment to harness corporate power — designing policy that shapes markets and gets ahead of them, rather than merely reacting to them?
The global leaders who thrive in the next decades will be geostrategically adept. The Baratta Center exists to develop them.
