Caroline Nguyen is Executive Director of the Baratta Center for Global Business Education at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She brings two decades of experience driving strategy and execution across the private and public sectors.
Nguyen previously led a $2B+ international portfolio as managing director at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, where she oversaw senior teams and drove operational delivery of complex infrastructure and policy investments across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific. Her portfolio spanned energy infrastructure, regulatory reform, and public-private partnerships across geopolitically complex markets.
In 2022-2023, she served in the White House as director for clean energy and global public sector partnerships, where she built policy initiatives linking clean energy policy with economic growth. Earlier, at McKinsey & Company, she led strategy teams on transformative projects with public and private sector leaders across Southeast Asia. Nguyen began her career at the nexus of law and policy at the U.S. Department of Justice and WilmerHale.
Nguyen holds degrees from Harvard (B.A.), Princeton (MPA), and Columbia Law School (J.D.). She is fluent in English and German, conversational in Vietnamese, and lives with her husband and two children in Bethesda, Maryland.
